At Showdown Dance Competition, you can be rewarded in many ways. We have highlighted our scoring system below as well as the different types of awards dancers, choreographers, costume designers and Showdown Finalists can win while at our competition.

NOVICE EVENT

The first portion of our event will be dedicated to our novice dancers! All novice routines will compete for their respective medals and an overall ceremony will be held at the end. Please see below the overall novice awards that will be presented. Please note: Novice routines are not eligible for Finals: The Showdown but they are eligible for the Novice Overalls.
Novice overall awards are Showdown Dance Competition scholarships redeemable at our merch booth or 2022 registration

- The following awards will be awarded to the top 3 routines competing in the Finals: The Showdown.
- These awards represent the whole package (choreography, performance & technique ) and are the most prestigious awards at the entire competition (Semi Pro/Pro are not eligible for the following prizes):
1ST: THE SHOWDOWN CHAMPION ($3000)
2ND: THE SHOWDOWN RUNNER UP ($500)
3RD: THE SHOWDOWN THIRD PLACE FINALIST ($250)
